Afternoon Weather Update

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard from 4 P.M this afternoon through 1 P.M tomorrow afternoon.  Snowfall accumulations of 2-4 inches are possible, especially across the outer Cape, and islands.  Localized higher amounts are possible where the snow bands form strengthen due to convection.  The primary impacts will be slippery roadways, and some gusty winds.  However, this event is short lived and should diminish by tomorrow afternoon.
