Updated 5 day forecast

One question I will ask is will the heat across the northeast last till the weekend?
A second question is will it rain again this week?

Weather Update as of 11pm:
The Severe Threat today was much diminished due to clouds hanging thru most of the day.  There wasn't enough instability across much of the region.  Only result was heavy showers, with Southeast MA and Cape Cod having some severe weather with lightning and wind.  There will be a chance of an isolated shower or storm overnight tonight as a cold front will clear thru the region.

Tomorrow:
Mostly dry with Sun and clouds for most during the morning.  Patchy and an isolated shower are possible along the south coast of New England and some river valleys across the region.   Clearing with more sun during the afternoon. High Pressure will help provide some nice summer weather for us.  Hi Temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s across Southern New England and Eastern New York.  60's and 70s across Northern New England. Low Temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s across much of the area, with 40s possible in northern Maine. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph.

Wednesday:
Another dry start to the day with mostly clear skies to start the day.  Sun and clouds during the afternoon.  Hot, Hazy, and Humid. The Heat returns across much of the region. Showers and storms possible across Northern Maine during the afternoon and evening across Maine. Warmest Temps will be found across western New England and Eastern NY.  Hi Temps in the 80s to 90 across the region with the exception of the Downeast Maine, Southeast MA, Rhode Island, and Connecticut where a sea breeze is possible.  Hi Temps in the 60s and 70s in these locations. Low Temps in the 60s and 70s across the area.  Winds from the southwest at 5-10 mph with higher gust possible along the coast.

Thursday:
Another dry start to the day with mostly clear skies with sun and few clouds across Southern New England and Eastern NY . Clouds and possible showers across Northern New England in the morning. Clouds will build in the afternoon.  Showers and Storms developing during the afternoon and evening across Northern New England. Warm Day.  Hot, Humid, and Hazy.  Possibly the warmest day of the summer.  Hi Temps in the 90s for most with the exception of Northern Maine where temps could range in the 60s and 70s.  Low Temps in the 70s for most, except Maine where temps will range in the 50s and 60s. Winds from the west-southwest.

Friday:
Sun and clouds with a chance of an isolated shower during the morning across the area.  Showers and clouds will persist in Maine .  Hot, Hazy, and Humid across southern NE and Eastern NY with temps in the 80s and 90s. Temps in the 70s and 80s across Northern NE.  Low temps in the 60s and 70s for most. Winds from the southwest becoming northwest.

Saturday:
Looks to be a dry start  to the day.  Sun and clouds.  warm. Temps in the 80s and 90s.
