3:30 Afternoon Weather update

Currently, an upper low across Southern Canada is moving thru producing scattered showers and storms, mainly across Northern New England and parts of Southern New England.   This is associated with a cold front moving thru the region.   Currently, most of the showers and storms are occurring across Northern New England.   The Storm prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for South Central New hampshire and Southern Maine.  Conditions are prime for storm development, along with some severe storms.  As the afternoon and Evening go on,  the threat of showers and storms will increase for Eastern Massachusetts and other parts of Southern New England.   Areas of coastal Southern New England should expect more in cloud cover with  an isolated shower or storm later .  Areas of Eastern New York should remain dry with some clouds developing mainly to the north and east.  Storms that do form will contain heavy rain, gusty winds, and hail.
