Updated Forecast for Friday, December 9th

Good evening everyone

Surface Analysis:

The low that was responsible for the heavy rain and snow yesterday is currently located over the Northern Canadian Maritimes.  There is an area of high pressure located over the Mid-Atlantic.  However, this will remain to our South as a cold front over the Great Lakes will move to the east and tomorrow and bring some clouds and rain/snow to parts of the region.  Colder temperatures will move in behind bringing a temporary chill to the region.

Friday, December 9th

Mostly sunny in the morning.  Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and snow showers across Northern New England.  Partly cloudy across Eastern NY and Southern New England in the afternoon and evening.   High temperatures in the 30s and 40s to near 50.  Winds from the Southwest at 5-15 mph.   Low temperatures in the 10s and 20s across Northern New England, 20s and 30s across Eastern NY and Southern New England.  Relatively light winds from the Southwest switching to West-Northwest.

Note: I will post an updated 5 day forecast tomorrow evening.  Have a Great Friday!!!!
