Severe Weather update

A swath of Heavy Rain and a few embedded Thunderstorms is occurring across North Central Maine.  A severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for North Central Penobscot County, Southeastern Aroostook County, and Northwestern Washington County.  The Warning is in effect until 9:45 pm.  The storm is capable of producing  strong damaging winds in excess of 60 mph and is currently moving east at 50 mph.  Some locations in the path of the storm include, Hodgdon, Topsfield, and Haynesville.  If you hear thunder, take shelter.
