A Severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Eastern New York, south of Albany. For more information, go to....http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=NYZ060&warncounty=NYC021&firewxzone=NYZ060&local_place1=4+Miles+ESE+Elizaville+NY&product1=Severe+Thunderstorm+Watch
Conditions are becoming more favorable for storms across areas of Eastern New York south of Albany. Portions of western Connecticut are starting to break into the sun. This will allow the atmosphere to become more unstable. I wouldn't be surprised if a watch is issued for parts of Southern New England where the clouds are breaking up. As of now, Eastern New York and portions of Southern New England, particularly Connecticut has the greatest chance of storms. If the clouds break up more across the region, storms will become more likely across the region. If you see you dark clouds or hear thunder, take shelter.
