Updated Forecast for Monday, September 19th thru Friday, September 23rd.

Good Evening Everyone

Surface Analysis

     High Pressure is currently over northern Maine and will move off to the east.  A warm front will move into the area later in the day Monday and a series of cold fronts will move thru the region this week. An upper level low will inch toward us and provide a lot of rainfall to Eastern NY and Western New England Friday Afternoon thru Saturday morning. The unsettled weather looks to continue into Sunday.

Monday, September 20th

   Mostly sunny skies across Northern New England and Eastern NY, Partly cloudy across Southern New England with isolated showers possible down along the south coast in the morning. Sun and clouds in the afternoon and evening with isolated showers along the Southern New England Coast.  High temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Winds from the northeast at 5-15 mph with higher gusts possible.   Low temperatures in 40s and 50s.  Winds from the south-southwest at 5-10 mph with higher gusts possible.


Tuesday, September 21st

   Mostly cloudy with showers and storms in the morning across Eastern NY and Western New England.  Showers and storms in the afternoon with some downpours possible.  High temperatures in the 50s and 60s.  Winds from the south-southwest at 5-15 mph with higher gusts by the coast.  Low temperatures in the 50s and 60s.  Winds from the west-southwest at 5-10 mph with higher gusts possible.


Wednesday, September 22nd
 
   Partly cloudy in the morning with isolated showers across the Southern New England coast.  Partly cloudy with isolated showers and storms across Eastern NY and Western New England in the afternoon and evening. high temperatures in the 60s and 70s.  Low temperatures in the 40s and 50s across Northern New England, 50s and 60s across Southern New England and Eastern NY.



Thursday, September 23rd

Mostly cloudy with a few breaks of sun.  Isolated showers and storms across the region in the afternoon.  High temperatures in the 50s and 60s across Northern New England, 60s and 70s across Southern New England and Eastern NY.  Low temperatures in the 40s and 50s.


Friday, September 24th

  Mostly cloudy with showers and isolated storms across Northern New England,  Rain and storms across Southern New England and Eastern NY.  Heaviest rain will be during the afternoon  thru evening.   Downpours likely.  High temperatures in the 60s and 70s across   Low temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
