Good Morning Everyone
Hope everyone is staying dry from the off and on heavy showers occurring across the region. It made for a nice display of rainbows with some peaks of sun trying to break in yesterday. This week will be another tough week as clouds and showers will linger, with a hint of sun from time to time. As Wednesday comes around, another storm looks to be on our door step. This storm will bring a good amount of rain and a chance of snow to the mountains. Yes, the forbidden four letter word most of us don't want to hear might occur in the highest elevations of the Adirondacks and White Mountains.
Surface Analysis....
Currently, the low responsible for the clouds and rain over the last few days is over northern parts of the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. This will slowly move off to the north and east. A high is present across the deep south. A low associated with a stationary front is located over the Rockies and Western Great Plains. This will be our next storm system to affect the area around mid week with some more rain, clouds, and possibly mountain snow in higher elevations of Northern NY and New England.
